Dancing on the Green / Jazz on the Lawn

Dancing on the Green is a HOTA event that kicks off each month with free live music and entertainment on The Outdoor Stage, inviting all to come along, kick back and dance on the lawn. Expect a mixture of local and famous performers on the stage, an eclectic choice of music genres and a fun atmosphere!

Dancing on the Green will be on March 1, followed by Jazz on the Lawn - an exclusive all-jazz concert - on March 8. For yogis, there’s also Yoga on the Lawn on the first and third Sunday of every month.

The Greatest Showman Singalong

Also free, The Greatest Showman Sing-A-Long is a family-friendly outdoor cinema event and open singalong that will feature a cast of live performers!

Settle down at The Outdoor Stage to watch The Greatest Showman on a big screen with costumed entertainers performing live with the soundtrack. It’s the complete package for fans of the smash-hit musical movie - tickets are free but limited so make sure to get them in advance for March 14.

GC Laughs Festival

After huge success last year, HOTA GC Laughs Festival is back! For one whole week at Home of the Arts, catch nonstop performances from some of the biggest names in Australian comedy, with just a few being Heath Franklin, Sam Simmons, Dusty Rich and Matt Okine.

Highlights will include the GC Laughs Gala opening night, NZ Gala New Zealand comedy showcase and a final roundup of the best acts with GC Late Laughs. The full GC Laughs Festival 2020 program will take place from March 14 to March 21.
