See JUNK by the Flying Fruit Fly Circus at Home of the Arts!
Jan 23rd 2019 3:15pm
The sensational Flying Fruit Fly Circus is back to celebrate their 40th anniversary with a final tour of their award-winning show JUNK. Regarded as one of the nation’s leading youth circuses, the Flying Fruit Fly Circus began four long decades ago in 1979, and have continued to dazzle and amaze with their huge productions of acrobatics - all with a cast of talented youths from around Australia.
This 2019, JUNK returns better than ever to take you on a journey back to the 1940s. Following a group of zestful kids that discover an abandoned junkyard, JUNK is a wild ride from start to finish as the kids show of their junkyard acrobatics and push the limits of imagination - without safety gear and adult supervision!
Featuring a spectacular cast of youths, mesmerising shadow puppetry, and some of the best circus skills in the country, the Flying Fruit Fly Circus is all set to take over Australia’s top venues this autumn, and for those with a passion for creative performance and circus, JUNK is the Flying Fruit Fly Circus at their best, with nothing but a playground full of junk and a propensity for inventiveness.
One date of their national tour will see them - literally! - raise the roof at the Gold Coast’s Home of the Arts, and if you haven’t witnessed the Flying Fruit Fly Circus yet, JUNK is the one show to be seen this 2019. Round up the kids, invite friends, and make sure to be on the Gold Coast when the Flying Fruit Fly Circus arrive with three unmissable performances over March 29 and March 30.
