Wicked

Wicked spins The Wizard of Oz on its head with new characters, new twists and a score of catchy musical numbers that will have you and your kids wide-eyed from start to finish! Focusing on young sorceresses Elphaba and Glinda - the “untold story of The Wizard of Oz” - Wicked is Gregory Maguire’s acclaimed 1995 novel brought to life on stage with stunning costumes, sets and all-new music.

This successful Broadway and West End musical production is now coming to the Gold Coast with an unmissable run at HOTA until July 6.

Dancing on the Green

Dancing on the Green is a live music and dance event at HOTA that is free for all to attend. This monthly festival offers good vibes on the lawn with back-to-back live performances on stage, and just in time for the school holiday, Dancing on the Green will be kicking things off with NAIDOC Celebrations - a colourful outdoor party with live cultural dance and music to celebrate NAIDOC Week 2019.

Possum Magic

See Possum Magic adapted for the stage in a brand new production by Monkey Baa Theatre Company. Featuring Grandma Poss and Hush and faithful to the bestselling 1983 children’s book, Possum Magic is a treat for the kids and a fun nostalgic throwback if you who read the book as a child!

See Possum Magic performed by a fully costumed cast at HOTA on July 12 and July 13.
